New Faith and Film Group starts Thursday 2nd July
Join us for the first evening of our new Faith and Film group. We will be showing Jesus of Montreal (cert 18) at 7pm on Thursday 2nd July 2009, and will discuss the film on Thursday 9th July starting at 7pm. This new group will explore issues of faith and film and the Christian Church during July, and returning for another 4 weeks in September 2009.
One week we watch the film and the next we talk about it. Come to see the film, if you have already seen the film you are very welcome to attends the discussion.

MCC Edinburgh honours Loud and Proud and Affirmation Scotland
As part of Pride Scotia’s 2009 celebrations, Metropolitan Community Church Edinburgh has honoured two Scottish LGBT organisations for their contributions to the LGBT community. Awards were presented during MCC Edinburgh’s annual Pride Service of Liberation on Sunday, 28 June.
These two organisations work for justice and inclusion and each, in their own field of special interest, has improved the visibility and status of LGBT citizens in the country and in the church.

Transcendence
Our new spiritual discussion group for transgender and gender queer people meets on the last Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
This is space to explore your gender journey and your spirituality in a safe, supportive environment. The group is facilitated by Rev Maxwell Reay. For further details contact Rev Maxwell
